Continuous motion of Barnard’s star
Barnard’s star in lights again
Some time ago, I published the article about visualising of the proper motion of Barnard’s star. Now, I had added images of next two years. As we are expecting, the position of the object is nicely predictable.
The last two images (years 2008,2009) are taken during autumns opposite to solstice’s images at 2005,2006. Any shift due to parallax is not visible. Simbad gives value for parallax about 0.5” which can be visible with our instruments. By my opinion, when we will more carefully selecting time between exposures.
Barnard’s star images has no unique brightnes due to different observing conditions.
